Browser-only tools

The calculator, letter builder, arrears check, and simple case timeline on the home page can store data in your browser unless you download a file or save something to My Case.

My Case accounts

If you create a My Case account we store:

• Your email and an encrypted password (we cannot read your password)
• Case details and timeline events you enter
• Evidence files you upload (stored privately)

The Find your MP tool sends only the postcode you enter to the UK Parliament Members service (via our server) to return publicly published MP contact details. We do not store the postcode.

Technical detail: accounts and files are hosted on Cloudflare (database and private file storage).

Anonymous site use

To estimate how many people use the site without an account, we store a random visitor ID in your browser and a matching anonymous record on our server. It is not linked to your name or email unless you later create a My Case account from the same browser.

Site administrators

A small admin login is used only to manage the published Freedom of Information (FOI) Register, including uploading PDF copies of applications and responses that appear on the public register. Ordinary My Case accounts cannot access admin tools.
